結尾為-sh , -ch , -ss , -x 時加 -es
dishes , matches , classes , boxes

結尾為 子音-y 時 加 -ies
baby => babies

結尾為 母音-y 時 加 -s
toy => toys

結尾為 -f , -fe 時 加 -ves
knife => knives

例外 有些 -o 結尾加 -es or -s
zoo => zoos ; zero => zeroes/zeros ; tomato => tomatoes

例外 名詞複數型為另一個字
